Help Your Community by supporting Small
Comforts:
Building and sustaining a
program takes resources of
many types on an ongoing basis. Browse the list below
and then consider supporting this important community
resource. The person you help may be a friend,
colleague, neighbor, or family member. Whoever you help
will be someone who benefits from your concern.
Small Comforts supports people with chronic illness in a
variety of settings including Hospicecare of Tompkins
County. It utilizes cash donations for small items
which assist those with chronic illness to obtain items
which make life more comfortable or easily managed.
Your tax-deductible donation is very much appreciated.
Equally important as material support
is the donation of your time and talent.
Hospital staff are burdened with the duties of care and
there is need for volunteers to assist people with choosing
videos, turning on the unit, moving the portable units to
and from areas. The service has significant value and
the interaction with patients is rewarding for volunteers
and patients alike. Consider volunteering at the
hospital.
Whatever your interests, there are ways
you can assist. Drop a line with your ideas of how you
