Cayuga Medical Center

"As an aide at Cayuga Medical Center I often have the chance to brighten someone's day by bring into their room one of the Alex Cima VCR units.  The current video library that is available gives them many movie choices.  The program has made a difference to so many patients in so many ways."

The Alex Cima VCR Program makes it possible for dialysis patients at Dialysis of Ithaca to pass time during their treatments watching current movies from tape libraries provided by Small Comforts Foundation.

Anne Ball is a volunteer for Small Comforts working with the Alex Cima VCR Program at Cayuga Medical Center.  Anne works as a program coordinator making sure that all aspects of the program are working smoothly for both staff and patients. Thanks to Anne's wonderful organizational skills and compassion for patients needs many patients find that Small Comforts Programs can make a difference in the time that they must spend in the hospital."
