January 2007 - The third round of grant requests is opened for submissions of requests that meet the established guidelines.   Each request requires an application and a physician's note The first two rounds of grants resulted in requests for many morale building items, and the committee evaluated them based on the value to the quality of the individual's life, the lack of availability of alternate funding, and finally cost against limited resources.  We were delighted to find community vendors receptive to assisting in obtaining items as we implemented grant requests.  The deadline for this round of grants is May 15, 2007.
